  1. If that Southern BattleFlag would be prohibited, there must be most of the national flags that exist be forbidden too…Think about; mostly every flag or nation has blood on it…even the Stars and Tripes could stand for the genozide of American native pple and would have to be forbitten too…
    Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

  2. I'm going to say, as a Missouri born and raised, you are full of shit if you think ANYONE who flies that flag thinks it is just about heritage, OR EVER WAS. Come on! And it was never "just a fad" either. A fad, yes, just a fad? No. We always knew exactly what it stood for, and it wasn't the Dukes of Hazzard. If anything, they made it seem slightly more acceptable. But if you saw some old boy flying that flag, you knew to keep your black friends far away and avoid certain conversations with him. This was never some cutesy thing people did just because it was a symbol of "the south." Nope, it was a symbol of THE SOUTH, and we all knew exactly what that meant. Please for the love of all that is good in this world, please stop fucking sugar coating this garbage and lying to people.

  3. Interesting fact: Only 2 nations 'needed' a Civil War to end slavery: United States and Haiti.
In all the other nations that also had slavery it was Phased Out by the early 1900s due to Christian Abolition movements, international pressure and changing views globally.
Even if the South had won , it is very likely they would have followed the rest of the nations in ending it. Basing an entire economy on slavery is a horrendous AND stupid idea that fails over time.

  4. Even as a kid I knew it as a rebel flag because I was obsessed With the dukes of hazzard show and I always correlated the flag with individuality. But that quickly changed when a fellow school mate of mine called me racist for having the general Lee hotwheels. I didn't even know what racism was that day until my parents sat me down and explained more in detail. I still see it more as a sign of rebellion in the sense of like being alternative; to go against the status quo for individuality but I learned that no matter how much truth you put into history some like have a blindside which I can understand.

  5. i would like the see a video on asking southerners what they think of the flag and the meaning of it now. instead of intellectuals in universities and museums. I can tell you that regular southern people will say it's a symbol or southern pride.

  6. Sad thing is the confederate battle flag might seem racist to non southerners, but those who have ancestors that fought and died in the war look at it as history and southern Heritage. Did we agree with some of the things they were fighting for? No, but we are proud of them for standing up for what they believed in and southerners will be the leaders in this next war Joe Biden and his socialist party are raging on us!!!! Oh and the way others see the southern cross is how a lot of ppl look at BLM signs, flags, and clothes.

  7. Imagine what would happen with that flag if every person of color or anybody that thinks it stands for hatred or racism would fly that flag and carry that flag it would lose its supposed meaning to anybody else

  8. I fly that flag a symbol of southern pride and rebellion…and never in my life have I looked at a person of a different race differently than I look at people of the same race as me

  9. Personally I don’t see it as a problem but I can see how others can. The way I see it the flag symbolizes rebellion to the government taking our freedom, but the kkk ruined that by using it as a symbol of hate. Very similar to the swastika used by Hitler, which originated from Norse symbols and was never meant to be used as a hate symbol until one person decided to use it that way. The same would happen if a group of terrorists took a well known flag and claimed it as their own.

  10. Why is It that NO ONE ever mentions the FACT , that the DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOUNDED THE KKK and The DIXIE DEMOCRATS are the ones who started having the Confederate Flag as there symbol??? Just a question for the VOTERS!

  11. I always thought it was a symbol of America's rebelous spirit. All Americans. But I suppose there's fair reason why it might offend the easily offended so for peace in the nieghborhood and a little manners. I chose to NOT fly it. Only because it doesn't mean alot to me but you should work on not working yourself up over nothing.

  12. Slavery is inherently racist.
Blacks weren’t the only ones working for free in America. (Which ended in 1865)
    Irish we’re.
    Chinese we’re.
Democrats were the ones who wanted to keep the Slaves.
Now they just call there slaves immigrants and Refugees. (To cover what the Democrats are actually doing, the Slave trade. They just have there slaves walk to them instead of getting somebody to gather them)
The Middle East still enslaves people White, Black and every other race there is.
    Africans enslave other African.
China and some other Asians countries enslave other Asians and anyone else they feel like enslaveing.
Latin America still have slaves, have you ever wondered how the Drug Cartels keep up there Drug crops.
(And I’m not even going to talk about Sex slavery, that would take even more time)
Slavery is not inherently racist, every race has and is facing Slavery depending on what country you live in.
Everyone can be a slave, race has nothing to do with it.
Only the Liberal privileged CCP Democrats think only blacks can be Slaves. (They pretend anyway)
Yet it’s the Democrats who wanted and want to keep Slaves.
Saying Slavery is inherently racist is actually racist.
You’re implying that only White people are the racist and evil.
    That is racist.

  13. Slavery isn't "inherently racist." Blacks were sold by other Blacks, usually as a result of tribal warfare; nor was this unique to Blacks. Ancient Romans and Greeks had slaves that were of their own race, and being a slave wasn't always a rotten job, it was just the lowest rung of the social ladder.

  14. Being a southerner, when I learned that the north used scorched earth tactics to win the war it made me want to fly the flag. I don't give 2 shits about any of the other points. They had to resort to shit that's unacceptable to win. So to me that flag basically says f the north.

  15. The confederate flag is pretty but it did not come about until the civil war in 1862. It represented the southern states that ceded from the union. It did not represent southern heritage. At the end of the civil war the flag should have been set aside as we all were represented by one flag as it should be. Slavery was wrong and the right side won because it abolished slavery. I don't understand why anyone would think the confederate flag was southern heritage since it should have been retired after 4 years of war. Our southern heritage is so much more than the confederate flag. I certainly understand both sides of the civil war and after 1865 we all live and die under one flag.
